Vegas, Baby!

One of Josh's favorite lines from a movie is, "Vegas, Baby!". So it wasn't surprising to hear all 4 of them chanting "Vegas, Baby!" as we drove into Las Vegas this past weekend. It was kind of a quick and unplanned trip. (I'm starting to like these kinds of trips) We went with most of Josh's family to see his sister dance at the Utah - UNLV game. It was really fun. We hadn't been to Vegas since Kaige was itty bitty. Here are some of the highlights of the trip.

The Weather...

was beautiful. It was nice to be outside with out a jacket on. This was waiting for the fountains at the Belagio. It is pretty amazing.

All Boys...

This was the highlight of my trip - I didn't have to stand in long lines at the restroom. Each one of them insisted on going in the Men's room with Josh. Add that to the list of positives for having all boys.


The Utah Game
Kaige's favorite thing was the Utah Game. This was the first game that we have taken our boys to. They did really well. I am glad that it was warm. The game itself kept the older boys entertained. Boo needed lots of food and Papa's coke to keep him busy. Max really didn't want to go, but he ended up having a lot of fun. He is even going to go with his dad to this week's game at home.


The great seats.
This was Josh's highlight. We had okay seats, but his parents had really great seats. So at halftime, Grandma Kathy and Papa came and sat with me and Boo and Josh, Max and Kaige went down to the 3rd line with Taylor. The boys came back up because they said they could see better up high, but Josh stayed. He loved being that close. He took a lot of pictures.

Swimming!

The boys all loved the humongous pool at our hotel. it had a really big hot tub that was more like a pool and a kiddie pool that they could touch in. They love to swim, but the part they loved about this pool was that it was open 24 hours. We swam until 11:30 pm. They loved it. The water was warm so Josh liked and I liked that it was shallow enough that I didn't have to worry about them.

Kallee

The real reason we all went to Vegas - to watch Kallee Mae dance and cheer at the game. The stadium was not where we thought it was and we missed seeing her dance at pre-game, but we were able to see her cheer. Boo thought that it was pretty cool to see Aunt Kallee down on the field.

The Sharks

We also went to Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. We had taken the boys there when they were little, but Josh just loved it so we took them again. Max is so much like his dad. He got the listening guides and had to listen to every exhibit and wouldn't move on until he had heard it all.

It was a really fun trip. One other highlight was that I didn't have to take Chuey! The boys wanted to, but dogs just don't go on vacations. Thanks to the amazing Uncle Tyler for puppy sitting a naughty puppy.
