Basketball, anyone??

For the past 3 months, we spent our Saturdays watching the boys play basketball.  They had such great teams and coaches.  They learned a lot and improved so much.  I really enjoy watching my boys play sports.

 Here is  Boo, the All-Star.  He is so funny.  He played up a league last year with all his friends that are in 1st grade, so this year when he played with all the kindergarten kids that had never played, he tore it up!    

 Whenever he saw the camera, he would stop and do these funny poses.  

 Here is Boo's coach giving him some pointers... he listened to every word.

 He really was awesome this year.  He scored at least 10 points in every game.  

 No matter what sport, Kaige dives right in and lives and breathes that sport for the duration of the season.

 Kaige has a really sweet shot.  He can usually hit a jumper from anywhere. 

 Josh was able to coach some of Kaige's games.  It is fun to them interact on the court. They are a lot a like.

 Kaige is a really talented athlete.  He needs to be a bit more aggressive, and he would totally dominate.  His shyness keeps him from really going after it.  He is fun to watch and he did so well.

 Here is Mighty Max.  He is so aggressive.  I think that he has improved so much over the past season.  He is so quick and gives it his all.

 One of the many steals max had.  He was able to take ball away from everyone.  He was not intimidated by the tall boys one bit.

 This is Maximus waiting for the other team.  Doesn't he look tough?  There were a few games that the other team would get rid of the ball, so Max wouldn't come after them.   We even heard a few say, "oh no!" as Max charged toward them.

This is Max guarding his friend Ethan.  Max was half the size of him, but played him so stinking tough.   I love that Max is so little and that he has the biggest heart of anyone on the court.  I love that he doesn't let his size discourage him from being the best he can be and from keeping up with the "tall" kids.   He truly has the heart and drive of a giant.

Thanks boys for a fun season of Basketball... We can't wait for the next round of sports to begin... in about a week!
