Lake Mead
A couple of weeks ago, we were lucky enough to go to Lake Mead with some of our friends. There were a whole lot of boys on this trip. They created a space in the houseboat and called it the "boy cave". It was so fun to see them all get along. This trip was the first time that my kids had been out on a lake. They have been in the ocean a million times and even on my dad's sailboat, but never a speedboat on a lake. I think it was a great first trip! I just need to talk Josh into buying us our own boat now!
This is Boo on the Knee Board. He was so willing try anything. Anytime someone would try something, he wanted to do it too. He finally got to do the knee board. He loved it. He thought that it was great that he didn't need to hold on to the rope. He kept raising his hands as waving. He thought it was a pretty cool trick. Boo also loved riding in Jonothan's boat. Everytime it went out, he was on it. He did fall asleep on it quite a bit and that was really nice.
Six of these funny little boys, plus cute Hadley on the tube!
Kaige on the Knee board. He wasn't too sure about trying this, but thanks to
Madi and her coaching. We got him to do it. She even made him a bracelet that only knee boarders get!
The "little" boys riding the water wiennie! Banks is the wild man that is riding one handed!
The big kids tried this out first. It was so funny to watch them bounce around and fall off!
Max loved wakeboarding. By the end of the week, he was able to go out of the wake. He really enjoyed watching Ryan wakeboard. Ryan is really good at it.
