Happy New Year

Josh finally had a New Year's Eve day off, so we made the most of it.  It had snowed so much the couple of days before, that the boys wanted to go sledding.  Josh isn't much of a cold weather guy, but he bundled up and hiked up the hills with him.   We went to our favorite place, North Shore in Daybreak.  It scares me to death, but the boys love it.  Kaige decided that he hated sledding and so he stayed home by himself and pouted why we all went  (it's only 4 minutes a way and he was so occupied by his new ipod).
Josh and the boys making the trek up the hill.
Max trying out a "real" snowboard for the first time.    His classes started the next day.
This is Boo trying out the snowboard sled,,  he did get better.
Max got the hang of a real board and bindings pretty quick.
Josh even went down the hill on the sled.
He didn't go very fast.  I think that he was scared.
Max even learned how to jump.
The original plan was to go the the ranch, but we couldn't for some reason.  We had some great neighbors that invited us to some parties.  We went to the kid friendly one.  It makes me sad to leave my kiddies on New Year's Eve.  Annie is always such an amazing cook and has the best food.  This night was no different. We had Cafe Rio style dinner.  She has such fun activities for the kids and we played some fun games with the adults.

We all went to Texas Roadhouse for Dinner.  It was yummy.
Hope 2013 is as great as 2012.
