Ranch Trip

Since we couldn't go to the ranch over New Year's, We went down over Civil Rights Day.  I think the boys like sleeping there the most.  They always beg to stay more than one day.

Nothing beats Hidden Springs Ranch in the winter.

We played in the snow a lot.  It was nice to see blue sky and sunshine. It felt like a heat wave even though it was only in the 30's.

Josh built Max this jump to go off of. He loved and was able to land it and keep going by the end of the trip.
Boo loved taking the sled down the path.  Chuey loved chasing him and the 4 wheeler.  It was my job to haul them back up the hill after they made it down.  Chuey would chase the 4 wheeler up, and chase the boys down.  He was so worn out, he slept for 2 days almost when we got home.

The boys relaxing inside and playing some pool.
This is Josh's favorite thing to do at the ranch, sleep.
Kaige was watching a game on TV and playing with Elle the dog.
We played in the snow even more.  Boo wore himself out with the tube.
We built Snow caves in the deep piles of snow.

Max was fascinated by the icicles that stretched from the roof to the bottom of the deck.  Papa was nice enough to get one for him.
We also did some hot tubbing.  It was so fun.

We are grateful that Papa and Grandma came down for one of the nights with us.  We are so lucky to have such a fun place to sneak away to for some fun family time.
