June Catch-up

Now that school was out, we had to find something to fill those lazy summer days.  Max's friends talked us into buy Cowabunga Bay passes.  Best money that I ever spent. It is the perfect size water park for kids the age of mine.  We loved it there and it was so close we went often.
This was my favorite spot.  I could just set back and watch them have fun, but when I wanted to go in the water, it was heated!
Kaige's favorite part of summer break is that he gets to attend the Ute Football camp for a week.  He adores these players and loves working and learning with them.  This is Kaige and John White (Wolfman).  This is his hero.
This is Kaige and Devonte Christopher.  Another one of Kaige's favorite from the Ute Football team.  These  young men are so nice to these little guys.  Great examples and have so much fun with them.
Saturdays are usually pretty booked at our house with three boys in sports, but there was one Saturday in June that we had nothing!!  Josh decided to plan a family hike. It was really fun.  We went with one of the pharmacists that Josh works with and his family.  It was really fun.  They had a son the same age.  It wasn't a tough hike, even Chuey made it.
After the hike, we went back to their house and the boys fell in love with these dumb Guinea Pigs.  They have been begging for one ever since and even offered to babysit them.  It think that Chuey would eat them.

Max's Soccer club had their annual REAL Salt Lake  night.  Max is able to march on the field at the beginning.  He loves to be able to do this.  He sold tickets to all of the Loves.  It was a fun night to go and watch soccer and sit with all the Loves.

During half time, Max's team and the other GLORY teams were able to go down and play a scrimmage on the field.  He had so much fun!
We have been having Max mow the lawn this summer.  Boo was quite upset that he couldn't do it.  I felt like 10 is a good age to start, but he said he could do it at 6.  Max was all to willing to share the chore with his little brother.  Josh sat out there with him and helped when he needed it.  He loves to help in the yard.

We also did lots and lots of swimming during the Month of June.  I love to be out at the pool.  We always love to go to Grandpa Steve's pool, but this year we branched out and tried a few of the county pools.  The boys are into diving and Papa's just isn't deep enough.  And now that they are older, they don't care that the pool water is as warm as papa's pool!

Boo coming out of front flip!

We ended the month with the annual T-ville Days Fireworks with the Loves.
