Boo, Bob and the Sledgehammer

For Easter Grandma Kathy gave us a tetherball.  We were so excited.  I asked Grandpa Bob to come and put it in some cement for us, because it just wasn't working in the grass.  Grandpa showed up with an old tire and some cement.  We just used the pole that came with the tetherball - not a good idea.  It lasted about 2 days.

So Grandpa Bob came back with a "real" pole and he and Boo went to work.  They decided to hammer out the old cement and use the same tire.  Fun Stuff.

Finally the got the cement out and started with the new.  Boo loved mixing up the concrete and patting in the tire.

He is just like Grandpa - safety gloves and glasses.
After the real work was done, Boo decided he needed to break up more of the concrete.  What a great idea - a hunk of concrete and a rubber mallet.  He spent hours for days out there pounding on this chunk.  He was so excited when he broke a piece off.
 Still pounding.....
Still Pounding.

Thanks to Grandma Kathy for the ball, Grandpa Bob and Boo for making it work and outlast a whole bunch of boys.
