Kaige's 2nd grade Program

Kaige had his 2nd grade singing program.  I was on a fieldtrip with Max's class, but Josh took really great pictures and video, so it felt like i was there.  For a kid that doesn't like attention, he sure is all smiles.
Kaige, the singer!  What a cute kid!
All smiles. After the program, the parents are invited to walk back to the classroom and see the students'  art work.
Kaige was so excited for this 3D art project.  The class collected lids and cardboard to make it.  He enjoyed it so much, he has been collecting them ever since.  He is saving them to make a great big project.
The most exciting thing this year is that his class has been raising chicks the past few weeks.  Everyday after school, I would get an update about how many eggs were left and what each chick look liked.    He was so sad last Friday when he had to say goodbye (teacher was taking them to a farm).  But when he got to school on Monday, his teacher and tadpoles!  That made up for the missing fish.
